I suffered scaphoid fracture back 2002 went to nhs with a badly swollen wrist and explained the nature of the injury and after X ray scan they told me its fine , it was very painfull for few weeks and then got abit better , but never felt my wrist went to pain free and as strong as normal and struggles with manual jobs for years , never ever though it could have been broken , until late 2023 i had a fight with lad who we both throw punchs , my rest was painful after , i went for a check abd had an ex ray i was told i had my scaphoid fractured from ages and it developed arthritis and need few surgeries, i was so disappointed of the years i was limited of doing any jobs or stuff i like , i have no idea how much my case should worth? A Consultant Gastroenterologist just admitted in writing that I was misdiagnosed 28 years ago with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, when in fact it was Crohn's disease. I now have major structural damage in my intestines and bladder and the Consultant Surgeon has said he does not want to operate because of the risk of death. Im still on the mend at the momnent after I collapsed on to the floor outside work the other morning,I had a seizure first time in a good while,Just turned up to work,Just outside the door waiting for the manager to answer,Mean while,I felt a fit coming on,I was thinking omg,Am I going to be ok for shift this evening,Next thing,I lost consciousness,I collapsed,My head went smash clean on the ground,I split my forehead open,I woke up 10 mins laying on the ground to see my work mates standing around me thing OMG,wft is going on,They contacted the Hospital,I got a lift to to A and E at Hospital,Had Blood test done,Had MRI scan done on my head,Had stitches done on my deep cut,It was very deep cut,So taking it easy for a little while,Not back at work now till Thursday evening,still be doing amount of hours at both Jobs for the next few weeks,Till im fully recovered,so mostly back to borning times again

In some cases, Dutch law applies to the maintenance arrangements and for instance English law (or the law of another common law country) applies to the settlement of assets, or vice versa. Dutch law In the Netherlands, as mentioned above, maintenance and assets are two separate issues. Maintenance (alimony) covers income, compensation for loss of earning capacity during the marriage, and a monthly payment to enable the former spouse to maintain the same standard of living. This is known as the reallocation of assets which Dutch law does not permit. When determining the division of assets, the court looks into factors including each spouse’s earning capacity, the needs of the person entitled to maintenance and the financial circumstances during the marriage. In short, regarding the division of assets, in England the court takes into account the income components. In the Netherlands, the court disregards income components and instead considers these when determining the amount of maintenance.

With the Gov online form there is a box to tick if one of the parties wishes to apply to the court to make a Financial Order. Is it important that at least one of the parties ticks this so they can eventually, as part of the whole process apply for a Financial Settlement Order/clean break as part of the Consent Order? We have a Joint Application going through and are at the Application to apply for a Conditional Order stage (having waited the 20 weeks) and we have the option to remove that one of the Applicants (myself) will be applying to the court for a Financial Order. Should I not have ticked this box at the start and just include within the Consent Order the application (from us both) for a clean break Financial settlement order, because we both agree that all the finances have been sorted between us both and will be saying this in the Consent Order. I’m just concerned about the online form to be able to move on. Do I remove the application for a Financial order? Thank you

I had knee surgery many years ago. The result was abysmal, far worse than when I went in. No risks were explained to me. The surgeon was not interested. I did not seek compensation at the time, I was young and too devastated and it appeared to difficult to bring a claim. If anything went wrong today I would definetely consider legal action. However, solicitors can only get financial compenation, they cannot replace the lost quality of life, so do your own research before any treatment

But how do we find out and proof it was asbestos? To be able to do something against it. It's not like you can just go there and take a sample.
